Why the Blue Moon Ball
Corning Children’s Center sets the standard in early care and education by inspiring learners, leaders and dreamers. A non-profit organization founded in 1980, Corning Children’s Center provides high quality care and education for 150+ children from six weeks to five years old. To make high quality childcare accessible to the entire community, tuition is based on a sliding fee scale. Learn more at www.corningchildrenscenter.com.
The Blue Moon Ball gala and auction will be held January 17, 2015 at the Corning Museum of Glass, and is the Corning Children’s Center’s largest fundraising endeavor. Now in its 12th year, the Blue Moon Ball is the area’s premier social event for 300 guests, largely executives, business owners and young professionals from Corning, Elmira and beyond.
Corning Children’s Center’s 35th Anniversary Year
Corning Children’s Center will celebrate its 35th Anniversary in 2015. The year-long celebration will be kicked-off at the Blue Moon Ball with a pre-event party in Club 35. Located in the Corning Museum of Glass’s Admission Lobby, Club 35 will be an exclusive event for 60 Blue Moon Ball guests complete with a DJ, open bar, heavy hor d'oeuvres and special silent auction items. Thirty-five will also be incorporated into event design, the Live Auction Matching Fund levels and the wine pull fundraiser.
